In the moment!

Have you ever thought –  “ahh, I wish I had said it earlier”?!
Why are we so scared or hesitant or just want to play safe (sometimes)..  to EXPRESS the RIGHT emotions  , as and when we feel it?!!
I personally feel there is no moment like “THE RIGHT MOMENT”. You would generally end up keeping it to yourself because you either don’t want to hurt the other person, or you are afraid of what response you might get, or the BIG FAT REJECTION (don’t fall prey to your EGO),or you think people can read minds?!!
We are forgetting one thing that the opposite person is just another HUMAN! Stop thinking people can read minds- communicate. Express.
He/she at some point in life might have felt just the same thing that you are feeling right now.
Self-expression is important in any relationship, doing it in the moment is even more important. Because, later you don’t want to say, “oh, I wish I could have just said/done ‘it’!” –

YOU DON’T WANT TO SIT AND CRIB, SO LIVE IT- IN THE MOMENT!

You want to smile at a stranger, smile, then! :)
You want to thank someone who doesn’t share a good rapport with you, but helped you in some way, thank him/her,then!
You want to say “I love you” to your grandpa say it, then!
You want to just hug your dad after having an AWESOME conversation with him, hug him, then!
You want to tell someone ‘it’s not working between us’..do it ,then!
You want to say “I miss you”, say it, then!
You want to say , “I like you, let’s go out sometime” .. say it, then!
You want to say, “I could really use a hug right now”..say it, then!
You want to say “I was wrong, I am sorry”..say it, then!
You want to compliment someone- be it just an acquaintance, compliment, then!
You are hurt because your close one said/did something you didn’t expect, say it, then!

So, today, do what you want to, express what you feel. Its not as hard as you think it is. Stop thinking too much. Just rip the band-aid! You might not hear what you wanted to in return, but you don’t even want to keep it inside and let it get buried under heaps of ego or fear or hesitance.
Haven’t you heard the cliché “life is too short”? It is, and so don’t waste the moment you have NOW, because you won’t get it back EVER again in the future. Listen to your heart, help it express what it feels.  Do not wait for “the right moment”. There is no right moment, the moment is RIGHT NOW!

Lots of intense love,
-S
