HE'S IN LOVE

If a child had to explain what O.T. Genasis means, I'm pretty sure they'd think the following. Or so I think and hope.

If you figured the irony, we're on the same wavelength. Let's telepathy?

better than we are, everything around us becomes better, too."

SHMOVE

You know, you feel butterflies in your stomach. You're also terrified and vulnerable. You run the risk of falling and then hurting, but you take the leap anyway, because the flight and the sight are worth it all. Ah, Metaphors!

BAZINGA!

I. LOVE. THIS. GUY.

DID YOU KNOW?

I'm curious. I hope you're curious too. So, I'm curious about very random things at times. Yesterday, I discovered 'The Birds and The Bees' phrase, and then I discovered how the birds and the bees' friends do the Birds and the Bees thing. Nature is a curiosity-inducing thing. Well, anyway, THIS led to some more reading about frogs and toads and then I drew.

432

Since I am no celebrity and no one wants to interview me, I thought I'd interview myself. Why you ask? Because I can. So I will. Here's to all the people who love questions and are a big fan of details who also indulge in self talk often. I know I do. Let's begin then! Also, the title is irrelevant but I also like to mention irrelevant things randomly so I did.*

Describe yourself in one word.
-Weird.

What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up on?
-Music.

What is your favorite four-legged creature and why?
-Puppies. Because puppies.

Do you see a future in Bollywood?
- Yes. If Nargis Fakri can be a lead in an Imtiaz Ali film, anything can happen.

What food do you think you resemble?
- I'd like to be a potato because it is my favorite, but I think I resemble a kiwi.

Do you like chocolate?
- Stupid question.

Tell me about something you've achieved and will always be proud of?
- May 2009. When I was selected as the lead dancer of my group for Shiamak Dawar's Summer Funk show.

Are you very childish?
- I think of myself as half child, half old soul.

Have you ever stolen something?
- Yes. I still do. Stealing good quality tissue papers from Restaurants/ hotel washrooms is something I do quite often.

What life changing thing have you discovered lately?
- Waterproof notepads for the shower. Discovered on amazon.

What are your expectations from science in the future that will make life easier?
- I'd like to give birth to babies without having to go through menstrual cramps or labor pain.

Would you cheat on your boyfriend with a footballer?
- Most definitely. It's like an obvious free pass.

What do you do in your free time?
-Mostly overthinking.

Favorite color?
-I have different favorites for different things. Like Blue for certain design things I create, Black for clothes, Grey and White for walls..

Number?
-Just have issues with odd numbers except the multiples of 5. No particular favorite number.

What's your favorite recent memory?
-Crashing a politician's private party, dancing a lot and getting photographed doing those things and now hoping it keeps the hosts wondering where do they know us from.

What do you not like in this world?
- Politics and politicians.

Would you rather be gossiped about or not talked about at all?
-Gossiped about, hundred percent.

Would you rather only be able to whisper or only be able to shout?
-Whisper.

Would you rather always get first dibs or last laughs?
-Last laughs.

Would you rather be forgotten or hatefully remebered?
- Hatefully remembered.

And lastly, if I could grant you 3 wishes what would you ask for?
- World Peace
- Time Travel
- Healing Powers, like the tears of a Phoenix

Thank you.
Oh, it's been a pleasure.

Proof that I am a big fan of talking. Interviewed myself. What an accomplishment for today. I think everyone should do these with themselves. It helps you get to know yourself better or kill time if that's what you're trying to do. kbye.

*432 represents the post number, and also it's a sequence so I thought since I can't come up with a cool title I'd try being mysterious.

Lesson Listing

Made a list of a few things I learned in the recent past which were worthy of noting down and then filtered it to make another list of lessons learnt that I thought were worth noting and sharing.

1. You don’t really know what a plant actually looks like until you have attempted to draw one.

2.Getting a college degree is overrated. Birthdays, too.

3. To be able to feel compassion is a luxury for some people. You’ll often find them at traffic lights.

4. Beating yourself up over anything is a waste of time.

5. You can never not have any haters. You could transform yourself into Beyonce and there will still be that one person who can’t deal with your awesomeness.

6. Music is the highest form of art ever created. It has the power to make the numbest man feel emotions again. Music rules all.

7. We are all connected to each other in some way or another. If I had to illustrate this, I’d draw a spider web. Hence, "One man's sorrow will hurt us all. One man's joy will make everyone smile."

8. When I started to write this post, I had only three points in mind. But when I actually started penning it down, more points started coming to mind. Et voila, lesson learned: the first step is the most important step in order to establish any kind of a venture. You don’t necessarily need to see the whole picture, one stroke at a time is good enough. A.k.a. overcoming your doubts is imperative.

9. Lonerism is not equal to depression. It is often seen in such a negative light. I did too, a while back. But I’ve learnt that it is an excellent way to reflect  or gain perspective on things and to un-clutter the mind from all the chaos caused by the information that is constantly thrown at us in this day and age.

10. Binge eating is as unhealthy as consuming large amounts of alcohol to drown the sorrows. It’s only a temporary joyous feeling followed by the world’s worst hangover or obesity in case of the binge eater.

11.  Your best piece of art or writing today, might seem atrocious a few years from now. But that’s a good thing, cause it means that you’re getting better. Much like our fashion sense.

12. It is completely ok to not like/do things that most people like/do. That’s what makes you stand out from the crowd. That's what gives you the edge. That's what makes you, You.

Oh But You Will

Completely disagree with the Crystal Merchant from The Alchemist. But, I also see his point. Although, who says you can only have One Treasure/ One Personal Legend to accomplish all your life? One dream to realize? Dream another dream. Hunt for another hidden treasure waiting to be discovered.. and then another..
